Lakes in Great Britain Автор: Валинурова А.Р.
The Loch Ness (Loch Ness in English), is a freshwater lake long and deep that lies in the Highlands (Highlands) Scotland, UK. The whole area is bathed in lakes, which sometimes bind together; their coast is wild and irregular, since both lakes, estuaries, as the same land, were carved by glaciers. The Loch Ness, the second largest lake in Scotland (in area), some 56.4 km2, but due to its great depth is what has greater volume, and contains more fresh water than all the lakes in England and Wales together (areas with no more than 200m deep). Its waters have a really bad visibility due to the high content of peat (black peat is used in some parts of Scotland to the dry ingredients of whiskey), and it is very cold, even in summer, but one leaves you feeling as mergulhinho again. The whole area has a charm that reminds dreams, their almost constant mist, green is a constant during the journey for its roads, medieval castles, the charm of small towns and villages, the Scottish accent and friendliness of its people . There we visit the Highlands and the lake (well, lakes, because this is the most famous but there are lots to see, and some with a lot of charm, although they have not the fame or the size of this). Furthermore, between the two villages on the lake stretches, we can visit the castle Urquhart (with origins in the century. V). We went by caravan, and is very easy to find accommodation in any more hidden corner. For those who have not may find this Sortem campsites, cozy small hotels and towns in larger hotels.

Loch Garten is a freshwater lake located in the Cairngorms National Park in the north of Scotland, a hundred kilometers west of Aberdeen. This wild loch is a nature reserve that is managed by the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds. Indeed, this body of water is a nesting place for many birds including the famous ospreys but also crested tits and finches. Loch Garten is therefore a paradise for bird watchers and nature lovers, and you can enjoy the many trails and viewpoints.

Located an hour's drive north of Inverness, along the east coast of the Scottish Highlands, Loch Fleet is actually an arm of the North Sea, separated from the main body of water by a narrow peninsula. In addition, the bottom of the Loch shore-side is bordered by the A9 road from Inverness and goes north, past the hill of The Mound. The result is a lagoon behind the road, where the special water conditions and salt water have allowed some rare bird species to flourish. It's a beautiful area which deserves a quick stop if you're on the way to the north of Scotland.

From the main view of the mountains you will see the top of Ben Lomond, which is the mountain range that separates the two lakes.
