Christmas cake is a rich fruit

It is covered with white icing

sugar.

‘mincemeat’ .

“Mincemeat" is a mixture of dried

fruit, often moistened with

brandy

Mince pies are baked in small

pastry cases.

How to make Christmas

Pudding:

Flour the fruit

In a large bowl mix the

eggs, sugar, spices, salt

and milk

Stir in the fruit, nuts,

bread crumbles and suit

Add in the flour

Boil or steam for four

hours

Serve with thick cream

somebody who finds it

Day.

If you refuse a mince pie at Christmas dinner, you will have

bad luck for the coming day.

If you cut a mince pie, you will ‘cut your luck’ too.

If you eat a raw egg before eating anything else on Christmas

morning, you will carry heavy weights.

You will have as many happy months in the coming year, as

the number of houses you eat mince pies during

Christmastime.
