«World animals» с применением игровых технологий

Тема урока: Animals in our life

Тип урока: обобщение и систематизация знаний учащихся.

Цель урока: развивать коммуникативные компетенции, обобщить и закрепить полученные

знания по теме «Животные», повысить интерес к изучению английского языка.

Для выполнения цели были поставлены следующие задачи:



Образовательные:

1.

Закрепление пройденных лексических единиц;

2.

Развитие навыков чтения с различной стратегией;

3.

Развитие навыков аудирования;

4.

Развитие монологической речи учащихся;

5.

Развитие диалогической речи учащихся.



Ход урока:

1. Организационный момент. (Слайд 1)

T.: Good morning, children! I’m glad to see you.

Who is on duty today?

What is your name (surname)?

What is the date today?

What is the day of the week today?

Who is absent today? Thank you...

Our lesson I would like to start with some questions:

Do you like animals? Why?

What animals do you know?

What is your favourite animal?

Have you got a pet at home?

Have a look at the screen, please. Here is a puzzle for you to do.

Name all the words in the pictures, take only the first letter of each word and you will read the

topic of today’s lesson. (Слайд 2)

You are right! The key word of our lesson today is “Animal”.

Today we’ll play some games, review the words on topic “World animal”. We’ll learn which of

the animals are wild and domestic. I hope the lesson will be interesting for you and you will

enjoy.

3. Контроль лексических навыков

Учитель показывает на экране разные части туловища животных, а ученики называют их.

T.: “Before talking about animals in details, let’s revise some words. What do we call the

following?” (Слайд 3)

4. Речевая разминка.

So, we have learned the names of different animals. Let’s play the game “Snowball”. The

pictures on the blackboard will help you to remember animals. The first student will name one

animal, the second student will repeat it and add another word, and the next student will repeat

two words and say one more. The winner is the student who will repeat the chain of all the words

on the topic.

Учитель напоминает детям правила игры «Снежный ком» и организует игру. На слайде

представлены картинки животных, названия которых знакомы детям. (Слайд 4)

5. Игра «Угадай»

And now we shall play the game "Guess". Your task is to solve riddles and name the animal.

Children, listen to me and be very attentive. We’ll check your answers on the screen. (Слайд 5)

1) It is big, long and green. It lives in rivers and eats fish and birds. It has four legs and a long

tail. This animal has a lot of teeth. What is it?

2) It lives in the woods. It's very big. It has got a big nose, a little tail and four legs. It likes to eat

fish and berries. It likes to sleep in winter. Sometimes it is very aggressive. What is it?

3) It has got a very nice tail. It can fly. It `s covered with colorful feathers. It can talk. It's very

funny. What is it?

4) This animal can be black, grey, white or red. It lives in the house. It can run, jump, climb and

walk. It likes meat, fish and milk. It can catch a grey mouse. What is it?

5) It's very, very big. It likes to eat grass. It has got four legs and two big ears. Its long nose is

called a trunk. It lives in India and in Africa. It's intelligent. What is it?

6) This animal lives in the river or near the water. It is small. It is green. It can jump and swim,

but it can’t run and climb. Some people don’t like them. Girls are afraid of them. What is it?

7) This animal lives at home or in the street. It can run, but can't fly and climb. It is very clever

and friendly. It's a man's friend. Name this animal.

8) This animal is very unusual. It cannot walk, it cannot run, it cannot fly, it can only jump. It has

a front pocket and it carries a baby. It lives in Australia. Name this animal.

6. Работа в парах. Описание одного животного

And now let's work in pairs. Choose one animal you like best. Then you will have one minute to

describe the animal but don't say its name. Your classmates should guess the animal. Let's start.

Now tell the class about your animal and other pupils will name the animal.

7. Физкультминутка

It’s time to have a rest. Let’s sing the song. (If You're happy) (Слайд 6)

8. Индивидуальная работа (заполнение таблицы).

On the screen you see a list of animals. Your task is to divide all words into 2 groups. You have 1

minute.

Now, exchange the cards with your neighbours and check the task. Check your answers on the

10. Чтение с извлечением специальной информации

T.: And now I want you to read an interesting text about Siberian bear.

Ученики читают текст, а затем отвечают на вопросы.

4. What are the bears like?

5. What do they eat?

6. What can we see in Kamchatka’s river in summer?

7. What is the bear’s favourite food?

8. Can bears swim?

11. Подведение итогов (рефлексия деятельности): оценивается работа каждого

ученика на уроке. Ученики выполняют самооценку деятельности на уроке, соотносят

результаты своей деятельности с целями урока.
