Тема: «Dangerous professions»

Цели урока:

контроль навыков выразительного рассказывания стихотворений;

актуализация навыков говорения по теме «Моя будущая профессия»;

тренировка навыков монологической и диалогической речи.

Оборудование: презентация по теме урока, аудиозапись.

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент

- Good afternoon, my dear boys! Good afternoon, my dear girls! How are you? I am glad to

hear that you are fine. Today we shall talk about your pets to a correspondent working for a

magazine about animals.

II. Фонетическая зарядка

- Children, let's remember some English sounds which are very important for us today.

Учитель показывает детям транскрипционные значки, они по очереди их называют, а дети

хором повторяют за учителем: [л] (jump, run, loving); [i:] (feed, eat, easy); [гё] (cat,, family);

[w] (want, one, walk); [ai] (kind, my, nine); [a:] (dancing, fanner, park).

- Very good!

III. Речевая разминка

Игра «Любопытный Незнайка»

Из числа детей выбирается Незнайка, который задает всевозможные вопросы. Незнайка

выбирается с помощью следующей считалочки:

One, two, three, let me see:

Who likes coffee and who likes tea?

One, two, three. Now I see:

I like coffee and you like tea. Примерные

вопросы:

- What is your name? (My name is Nina.)

- Do you listen to English songs at home? (Yes, I do. I listen to English songs at home.)

- How old are you? (I am nine.)

- Did you play football yesterday? (Yes, I did. I played football yesterday.)

- Do you have a cat? (Yes, I do. I have a cat.)

- Do you like to go for a walk with your pet? (Yes, I do. I like to go for a walk with my pet.)

- Is your pet clever? (Yes, it is. My pet is clever and nice.) Etc.

IV. Тренировка навыков монологической речи

- I want you to tell us about your pets which got a prize in a dog (cat) show. Works in groups of

three and listen to the stories of your friends. You may use the pictures and the photos of your

animals.

Учитель предлагает учащимся разделиться на группы по 3 человека и прослушать

рассказы учеников своей группы.

- Who wants to talk about the pet? We shall listen to your stories all together.

Well done. Your stories are rather interesting and informative. Thank you very much for the

stories

V. Совершенствование навыков изучающего чтения

-

Let's work in pairs and read one of the texts about two dangerous jobs from exercise 27,

page 49 from your textbooks. Choose one text, read it and answer the questions.

Учитель предлагает учащимся прочитать и обсудить в парах тексты из упр. 27, с. 49 из

учебника. Время на выполнение задания - 5 минут. Затем ученики выполняют задание

перед текстом и представляют свой варианты ответа на вопросы.

VI. Тренировка навыков устной речи на основе прочитанного текста

- Will you read the questions of exercise 28, page 50? We shall work in a chain and answer these

questions. Who is ready to start?

Ученики по очереди зачитывают вопросы из упр. 28, с. 50 и отвечают на них, используя

информацию из текста.

- Now I want you to agree or disagree with some statements on the text. Учитель предлагает

учащимся согласиться или не согласиться с утверждениями учителя.

Утверждения

8. Vets never treat zoo animals such as tigers and giraffes. (I disagree with you. Vets treat zoo

animals such as tigers and giraffes.)

9. The sick animal can bite, kick or scratch vets. (I agree with you. The sick animal can bite, kick

10. Vets have to learn about different animal's diseases. (I agree with you. Vets have to learn

about different animal's diseases.)

VII. Итог урока

- It's time to say «good-bye». You worked well during the lesson. Will you stand up?
