Введение в тему
. Good morning, boys and girls. I’m glad to see you. Yesterday my friend Peter Barker sent a video letter. Let’s watch it. Приветствие. Видео – письмо Peter Barker. What are we going to speak about? (About the weather)

Речевая зарядка.
1. What’s the weather like today? 2. Do you like such weather? 3. How many seasons are there in a year? 4. What are they? 5. What season is the coldest? 6. What season is the hottest? 7. What is your favourite season? What is your favourite activity? Ask each other about favourite season and activity. (Работа по цепочке) Children, I’ll give you thermometers to estimate yourselves, there are 5 degrees they are your marks, estimate yourselves, please.

The seasons.

The rain
The rain is raining all around It falls on field and tree It rains on the umbrellas here And on the ships at sea.
The snow stars

Coloured spring
I like this season, it’s name is spring I have a reason to paint it green Green are the trees, green is the grass Green are the birches, and even buds. Sometimes I want to paint Spring white I think it also will be all right White are the clouds high in the sky White is the air, I don’t know why. I think it’s clear that spring is red Just look at roses on flower – bed. There are 4 seasons in a year. For our next work we should divide into four groups. Who likes autumn, sit here, who likes winter, sit there etc. (поставить таблички на столы с названиями времен года).

Find the Russian equivalent to the English proverb. Each group has 3 proverbs and you have 2 minutes to complete this task. № Proverb Russian equivalent. 1. It never rains but it pours.
