Задач и: 1. активизировать новую лексику по теме, закрепить ее посредством активного участия учащихся в игровой деятельности; 2. совершенствовать устную речь; 3. развить навыки чтения, аудирования; 4. закрепить навыки орфографии; 5. способствовать развитию творческих способностей, логического и образного мышления учащихся

In 1863 President Lincoln declared T1lanksgiving as а national holiday. It is associated with certain symbols, such as а horn of plenty, а turkey, Pilgrirn and 1nд ian figures, аnd food: roast turkey, mashed potatoes, рumpkin pies, cranberries or cranberry sauce. Nowadays Americans sti11 celebrate Thanksgiving Day in the fa11. It is celebrated on the fourth Thursday in November. And turkey is sti11 the main dish and pumpkin pie is the most popular dessert.
